    Hey!

    Few questions:

    1. Where did you bought it? Was it our website – mouse-craft.com or Steam?
    2. If it was our website – have you downloaded the files from the email or from our user panel (crunchingkoalas.com/planetcohesia) ?

    Cheers,
    Tom

Same problem here. I used the e-mail which linked to the user panel. Download starts (at very slow speed, ~50 kb/sec), but I have never been able to get more than a third of it before it terminates with message that file didn’t match the expected length. I download elsewhere all of the time with no problems using a reasonably high speed (cable) connection.

Same here I cant download it via the browser builtin downloader (firefox) or using flashgot+uget on Linux. I just downloaded the free download to be able to test it. This link did not work. https://crunchingkoalas.com/planetcohesia/downld_scrpt/dwnl_lin.php instead I used: http://mouse-craft.com/builds/alpha/linux/MouseCraft.zip

    Hey guys,

Thanks for your feedback. Piotr will be in the studio in a couple of hours – he’ll try to fix it ASAP.

    Sorry for the problems ;/.

    Cheers,
    Tom

To download the game from Planet Cohesia you must be logged. That means you can’t download MouseCraft from this address without contributing us at: MouseCraft Store.

I also was logged in. To be fair, the title of the topic isn’t quite right from my perspective. It should be “Can’t Complete Download.” See my message above about how it starts, but I have never been able to get more than a third through it without the download ending with a size mismatch error. Speeds fluctuate up and down from over a 1 MB per second to around 50 k/sec. I usually get about 115MB to 120 MB of the ~357 MB before it stops.

People with low bandwidth may have temporary problem with downloading bigger files from Planet Cohesia.
We’re working on it at this moment with our web hosting service. We would like to say sorry for this inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

I am on Comcast cable in the US and just ran a speedtest to Warsaw (where I believe you are located). My download speed was 26 Mbps. I haven’t had a similar problem with other downloads so you definitely need to work with your hosting service.

Piotr has been working on this and I was recently able to download it. The speed is still very slow and the download didn’t complete once in three attempts, but the other two times it succeeded. I was successful at getting both the .zip and the .exe files (did both just to test the links). One successful attempt took about 55 minutes and the other one took about 22 minutes so as I said download speeds are still slow. By contrast, it only took a couple of minutes to install on Steam. BTW, I am downloading to a location in Colorado, USA.
