MouseCraft Co-creation Update is now available. Get it on http://mouse-craft.com or Steam, so you will receive all the game updates and Steam keys for the current and final version.

If you’re still not sure you want to get the full version of the game – download it for free, without registering to our Beta Program! You will find all the links inside.

What’s new?

Features chosen and funded by our community

The most popular feature among our contributors has been crowdfunded and has been partially added to the current version of the game - that's why this update is called the Co-creation Update.

Crowdfunded features have been partially added to the current version of the game – that’s why we call it a Co-creation Update.

As you all probably know by now – during our alpha-funding process everyone could (and still can!) buy the game, channel their contributions to particular game features and shape the development of MouseCraft.

The process is implemented through our website – check it here if you haven’t seen it yet.

This is how the first crowdfunded location looks like.

One of our alpha-funding goals has been recently funded - it consists of adding more levels, new types of bricks and additional locations (graphic themes).

We have partially implemented these features and updated the game with the desired content – new levels and one new location (shown in the screenshot) are now available.

Map

MouseCraft takes place in a laboratory run by a crazy cat scientist, whose main goal is to finish his mysterious mice-powered invention. It was pretty obvious for us that the gamemap should be a blueprint of the machine that’s being created:

Short comic

The free version of the game contains a short comic that will hopefully encourage everyone to get the full version of MouseCraft. It’s also a demo of how the plot of the game is going to be shown.

Our Beta Program is getting close to 9 thousand members. We think that’s enough for now – that’s why we are sharing the free version of MouseCraft without the need of registering into our Beta Program. Here are the links:

The current version of MouseCraft is available on Steam Early Access. All those who already bought the game on our website have been granted with Steam keys and can redeem MouseCraft through their Steam client.

You can still get the game on http://mouse-craft.com – it’s a bit cheaper out there, you will still receive a Steam key (also Desura and maybe GOG.com keys in the future), MouseCraft OST and you will be supporting us directly!

That’s all for now – enjoy the current version of the game!

The amount of polish you’re adding to the game is impressive. At each new update you surprise your supporters with a collection of details that not only enrich the experience, but turn the game into an endearing memory of delightful characters and situations that never fail to bring a smile to our faces.

The comic-like presentation of the story is so colorful and eye-catching; as an artist myself I appreciate your effort of actually painting the whole scene instead of relying exclusively on 3D assets to improvise some plot exposition; it is a clear statement of your dedication to a project that is meant to not only entertain, but also literally become a work of art!

It’s very inspiring to see you guys expanding the game with such enthusiasm; your love for your work is evident, and that makes the act of playing your games all the more delightful.

Keep up the good work! I’ll be definitely buying several copies of the game for all of my friends along the following months. Kudos on choosing the less traveled path! <3

i bought 3 early game for my friends and i. If i can’t really help with money, i can help creating some map for you.
I got many other ideas regarding block’s types, like ladder to climb up more than 1 square, magma liquid destroying block over the time, etc. It could be nice to be able to transfert liquid phisic too.
Pm me on the forum if you need =).
